Brides, birthdays and babies, oh my!

A dear sweet friend of mine got married this summer in Seattle.  While she is not of the GRITS persuasion, she has transplanted beautifully (living in FL now and while not really the South, she did live in Bham a while and let's face it, compared to Seattle...) well anyway you get where I'm coming from on this.  It is my delight (and responsibility!?ha!) to guide her in southerness; including, but not limited to a sausage ball recipe, banana pudding with a real custard, monogrammed kitchen towels, the bourbon ziplock bag, and now calling cards.  Here is what she chose. Love ya Caroline (and Dr. Dogpark too).  And by the way, just can't wait for her to have some babies...oh the smocked jon jon and the bishop!

Couples calling cards (with itsy envelopes) and the folded, how sweet!

hers flat note
hers notepad, LOVE!!
Don't know about you guys but I didn't have a birthday party this cool when I was 7!

flat, glossy invite and stickers that went on the swag CD party favors! Seriously fab!
Sweet baby invite

And finally a post card for my uber-talented artist friend Cecily.  Simple, clean, and with her piece-just beautiful.  You can check out her work at Jennifer Harwell in Birmingham.  http://jenniferharwellart.com/artists/Cecily_Hill_Lowe/

Here we go on the rest of the superhero party items.  Great fun, great weather, great friends, great kids!
Flat note for thank you's, also used on tabletop. Batman return address labels, also used without the address as cupcake picks.  3ft banner (boys LOVED this!) and random pics of the day! Enjoy,

Superhero Party!!

Here is a sneak peek at the party prep for my twin 3 yr olds.  They are as different as batman and superman so we had to include many heroes so everyone is covered.  Shortcake items used will be the 2" stickers (on cupcake picks, cups, and return address labels), invites, flat thank you notes and a vinyl party banner.  I (aka BatMOM) also did cape for each kid, here are the boys'.
Grab your capes and zap some villians!

and the party banner...not sure where it will be hung just yet. (this one is 3ft.)
