Why is it that I can whip up a party invite--complete with cute ryhme, matching thank you's and party favor ideas multiple times a week, yet to plan the boys' 2nd bday I am stumped...

I'm right there with you, Liz. I think I have settled on trucks but I'm still not sold on the concept. Best of luck. If you want to just copy and steal ideas, www.cookiemag.com has a great entertaining and party section that has a ton of b'day ideas. Carry on. :)
ReplyDeleteI mean I do tons of bday invites, but the boys don't have one`Geez! I'm feeling the pressure! It is a big day, but I'm not a huge fan of over the top, although that seems to be how it always turns out...I'm thinking "splash" party at the moment--which is totally stealing from the last invites I did for someone else :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and don't know if wardrobe is a thought yet, but if casual tshirt and shorts is the plan, I can applique him a truck shirt with a 2 and his name or somthing if you are interested. I can do matching elastic waist shorts too (although I know you know someone who could whip that right up!)Shortcake is looking to possibly expand to the monogram/applique realm :)
